Something went wrong.
It has been a long, slow fall for former NFL quarterback Vince Young, who was arrested for a DWI on Monday in Texas.
Young was pulled over around 4 a.m. and booked into Fort Bend County Jail, according to a report by TMZ Sports.
The 35-year-old Young, who was drafted by the Titans third overall in 2006 and went on to win Rookie of the Year, has been out of the NFL since 2011, when he appeared in just six games for the Eagles.
Most recently Young was in the news for a 2016 DUI in Austin, Texas, where police reported he was driving dangerously. In video of the incident, he was seen getting impatient and belligerent with officers.
After pleading no contest, Young was sentenced to 18 months’ probation.
This latest arrest is just one more unfortunate incident for the once-promising NFL standout, who flamed out after an illustrious college career at Texas.
