Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny has returned to full training and should be fit to face Manchester City on Sunday.
The centre-back was caught in the face by Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku during the FA Cup defeat a week ago.
It was thought that Koscielny may have suffered a broken jaw but it turned out to be just bruising. He wasn’t, though, able to recover in time for the 2-1 win over Cardiff on Tuesday.
Line Up Vs Man city
Will Denis Suarez start against Man City?
Denis Suarez has trained with his new teammates for the first time – but will he play alongside them on Sunday?
Unai Emery has a big call to make on whether to start his fellow Spaniard against Manchester City, but he doesn’t think Suarez will need long to adapt to the Premier League.
“Firstly he knows the language – he can speak English, which is important for us,” said the head coach.
“He can play right, play left, inside like a 10 player, and I am going to use him in all the positions in the attacking third. His best position? It depends… he played with us at Sevilla as a left winger, at Villarreal as more of a right winger and at Barcelona, he plays inside and outside. The possibility and capacity is all different.
Will Mesut Ozil retain his place in the first XI?
Mesut Ozil started in the attacking midfielder’s role vs Cardiff but the Arsenal boss may likely drop him down to the bench and play New team mate Denis Suarez in his position vs Man City.
Both Aubameyang and Lacazette started for the London in midweek and the Gunners boss will surely play both of them upfront vs Man City.
Predicted Line Up:
First XI: Bernd Leno, Mustafi, Sead Kolasinac, Laurent Koscielny,
Maitland-Niles, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette.
