As they say when it comes to Donald Trump, “there’s a tweet for everything.”

The President of the United States tweeted late Friday night about NBA star LeBron James’ interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, during which James called Trump “divisive.”

Said Trump’s tweet: “Lebron (sic) James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron (sic) look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

Naturally, there are tweets from Trump’s pre-political life referencing his respect for the four-time league MVP.

The day the 2012 NBA Finals began, Trump said he was rooting for James’ Miami Heat against the Oklahoma City Thunder:

A year later, Trump referred to James as a “great guy”


Months after that, Trump again stated that James is a “great guy” after he won an ESPY award:


In Game 4 of the the 2015 Eastern Conference semifinals, James hit a buzzer-beater against the Chicago Bulls. Trump was a fan of the clutch shot:
