Something went wrong.

Arsenal will be reluctant to make many changes from the team that triumphed 4-2 over Tottenham in the North London Derby when they face Manchester United tomorrow night.

However, they will be forced into making at least one change with Granit Xhaka suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Spurs.

With regards to injuries, Mesut Ozil (back) and Nacho Monreal (hamstring) are both major doubts for the game at Old Trafford. Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) could return to the matchday squad but is unlikely to start.

Danny Welbeck (ankle) is a long-term injury absentee but Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) is expected to be back in full training before the end of the month.

Manchester United have a long injury list. Manager Jose Mourinho has refused to give any team news in his pre-match press conference today so it is not certain who will be fit and who will miss out.

Eric Bailly (back) and Chris Smalling (foot) were both missing against Southampton, but it was hinted at after the game that both were close to returning to fitness.

However, during the match at St Mary’s, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Luke Shaw all picked up knocks, and it’s not certain how serious these injuries are. Fullbacks Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia are also doubts for tomorrow evening after not being selected on Saturday due to their own knocks.

The injury list goes on with both Victor Lindelof (thigh) and Alexis Sanchez (hamstring) out until the New Year.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United:

Leno, Bellerin, Papastathopoulos, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Torreira, Guendouzi, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Lacazette

Manchester United’s Predicted XI

De Gea, Dalot, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Herrera, Pogba, Fellaini, Lingard, Lukaku, Martial
