Arsenal have turned their attention to Lille star Nicolas Pepe after failing in their attempt to sign Cengiz Under from Roma, TMW reports.
Arsenal, in recent days, has again tried to submit an offer for Cengiz Under. After the first of 32 – and the request of the Rome of 50 – the Gunners had raised the stakes, but without getting to touch the idea of Monchi. Another refusal by the Giallorossi for the Turkish and the intention, by the Londoners, to change course.
OFFER FOR PEPPER – So it is Nicolas Pépé who tickles the taste of the English club: twenty-three, already twelve goals in Ligue 1 – and last year protagonist of the salvation of the transalpine with thirteen – and seven assists, plus nine appearances with the Costa d ‘Ivory, Pepe is the perfect identikit for the outside right, but can also play from the tip. The offer is around 50 million euros, plus bonuses.
Arsenal are apparently willing to offer €50 million for the Ivory Coast international who has provided 12 goals and five assists in 19 Ligue 1 games this campaign.
