Nigerian army releases video of IPOB members attacking soldiers at Nnamdi Kanu’s house

The Nigerian police has reacted to news flying around that the army attacked the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Sunday, September 10. According to a report by Premium Times, the Abia state police command commissioner, Leye Oyebade, claimed that the soldiers were passing through Kanu’s residence when they were attacked by members of the IPOB. Oyebade said: “There was no attack on the home of Nnamdi Kanu.
In a video shared by army spokesperson, SK Usman’s Facebook page, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) could be seen throwing stones and sticks at a military armoured tank and other vehicles outside the home of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu on September 10.
