Borussia Dortmund have reportedly added Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata to their list of targets for the summer transfer window.
The Spain international had an average debut season with the Blues where he managed just 12 league goals and this has associated him with a probable exit from Stamford Bridge.
Juventus and AC Milan have been credited with an interest in the Spaniard over the past few weeks, but according to Bild, Dortmund could offer competition for the former Champions League winner.
The Blues are said to be keen on recouping the entire £60m paid to Real Madrid 12 months ago but Dortmund are aiming to entice them into a cut-price deal after the striker’s struggles last term.
Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has been underlined as the prime target to replace Morata during the summer but any approach may only be made after the arrival of the new head coach.
Maurizio Sarri is understood to have already finalised his backroom staff to takeover at Stamford Bridge but it remains to be seen whether he can sort out a compensation package with Napoli.
